Romanbar 

Probably our most "out and out fun" team building activity. Certainly a very popular one! When you want a session with some real team building flavour, why not try a full-bodied business simulation? In a Romanbar session, product sampling isn't the only aspect that involves the participants! In the idyllic setting of Oldetown, Devashire, each team starts a wine bar within the franchised Romanbar family.

Collectively, they must be competitive enough to wrestle business away from the pre-existing competition. Individually, each team will want to be the best.

Teams make their first decisions and the venture begins! Their deliberations are computer analysed and the results fed back on a 'weekly' basis in the form of financial statements and general information on the state of the business.

But no business or service is only about facts and figures, of course. It's also about knowledge, skill and application. Many people remain engrossed with the cerebral challenge that the simulation presents from start to finish.

Most people, however, find the wide variety of activities that are on offer their greatest source of belly laughter inducing fun.  They include:

• Mix "traffic light" cocktails and learn about many more.
• Volunteer for your bar's cheese rolling team and take on the other bars.

Can you demonstrate an understanding of the marketplace as a whole. Can you collaborate with the other Romanbars? They are, after all, part of the same organisation...

This is a popular team simulation that highlights issues and decisions that affect all organisations. It is ideal when you want to mix business with pleasure in a challenging and motivating activity that people will really enjoy. And if you want to spice the competition up a little, we recommend the use of prizes for the winning team. Bottles of wine, of course.
