The Town With No Name
And you get to name it! Here’s the picture. We’re in the American Old West of the late 1800s. Boom time. All kinds of folk were flocking to settle there. Towns competed with one another to attract the best of them – the entrepreneurs, the hard workers, the right sort of people. No town wanted the undesirables, but they came anyway.
Each team runs a town in the region. They compete with one another to attract the right sort of people and they work together to help the region better the performance of the other (computer controlled) regions. It’s a brilliant mix of competition and collaboration.
You’ll make key decisions for your town on an on-going basis. How much will you tax your townsfolk? How much will you spend on key areas such as law enforcement, education and building up the town’s infrastructure? Your decisions affect all towns and not just your own in this sophisticated simulation. It’s a real challenge.
Enter the real fun stuff! Teams also get the chance to increase the effectiveness of their decisions through tackling a wide variety of challenging and fun activities:
