Team Building Catch Up

December 12th, 2008

Oops. We’ve clearly been remiss. No blog entry for over two months. We are hanging our heads in shame here. No excuses. Loads of reasons. We’ve been really busy running events. All members of our blogging community here have taken holidays. The wintry weather has dulled our creative juices. We apologise without reservation.

So, let’s try to make up for the dearth of recent information. I’ve checked with Paul and his choice of team building event of the month for October was a Memory Lane that we ran in Plymouth for all the staff at a fabulous Children’s Nursery. We ran it at the nursery itself on one of their training days, so the nursery was closed. It was something of a challenge fitting in both skittle alleys and the rest of the fun filled activities, but we managed it and the group responded brilliantly. Our new ‘bubbles’ activity went down very well, but the air guitar competition was the highlight!

Paul’s choice for November is a Romanbar that we ran in Brighton for some 90 people from the IT department of our client’s organisation. I wasn’t there for this one, but I understand that everyone got into the activity from the off and the cocktail making and bar flair sessions were amongst the many highlights of a great bunch of participants. I have seen the photos and they certainly bear our Paul’s assertions!

As we start to wind down with the Christmas break just around the corner now, I will try to get the odd colleague (and many of them are indeed odd!) to contribute a blog or two. But I hope that this one will suffice for now.

Keep well everyone.

Alan
