Team Building Event of the Month

Thursday, April 8th, 2010

I hope you had a good Easter break and are back in the swing of things – wherever you are.  The job of writing up March’s event of the month falls to me because I was the only team member there for the winning event.  One of the joys of Liberation is that it largely facilitates itself.  Or, to be more accurate, our software does the job for us.  Either way, it minimises the size of the team we need to send and a team of one is often the result.  Liberation events always engage the participants quickly and my three team group in the beautiful city of Bath towards the end of the month were certainly no exception.  In what was a long day (the client opted to allow us extra time with the group at the end of the day before heading out for a well deserved meal), the time just flew by for them and me.  Indeed, one of the many great comments passed on to us from our contact the next day was “I had no idea how much time had passed, I was so caught up in it all”.  Add to that “Learnt lots about myself and the others in my team” and “Felt like we really made progress as a team” and you can see why we picked this one for March.  From my side, the entire group (which happened to be mostly female) really made me feel welcome and part of their team for the day.  The whole thing was a pleasure to be at, start to finish.  I am down to facilitate a few more Liberation events in April.  Let me tell you now, folks – they have a lot to live up to.
