We are often approached by organisations who are looking to develop their team members and we are always happy to help with one of our team building activities.  However, it isn’t just our clients that look to develop their team members.  We do too.  Regular internal staff training sessions are held to ensure everybody is at the top of their game!  We also look to external organisations, where appropriate, to do this as well.  For example, I went on a week long leaders course last year which I am continuing to do follow-up work from.  We understand the importance of an outside perspective as much as our clients do.  It is important to develop your team members. When wondering what to write about for this team building blog entry I decided to take some inspiration from Google.  I looked up the different suggestions it has when ‘staff team’ is typed in and at the top of the list was staff team building ideas.  So I thought – hey, why not write about this?

Many organisations are now looking to try something different from what they have previously done with their staff.  They want to offer them a new, exciting and relevant team building option.  If you don’t know where to look you go to Google, Bing or some other search engine and ask for ideas – and that’s where we come in.  Hopefully, you’ll find us!  Our team building activities are all unique, different and they are developed using our background of learning and development.  You can only get our offerings directly through ourselves or one of our international partners so unless you have worked with us before you really won’t have done anything like one of our options.

Busy months usually make it more difficult to choose one event above all others, but not this time.  October did indeed offer many, many options for us to select from, yet one really did stand out head and shoulders above the others.  Set in central London, a two-day, two-team Liberation really hit the heights for client and ourselves alike.  Opting to add the brilliant “Wired”, “Sniper” and “Evidence” options, the participants gave their all during the activity itself and threw themselves equally into the debriefing day.  Importantly, they took away a detailed action plan for five changes they will make as a senior team back in their workplace.  And we are very confident that they will do just that!  I was fortunate enough to be looking after the Sniper “rifle range” and I can tell you for sure a good time was had by all there!  Even our main contact for the session, an observer during the activity itself, joined in with that one and was topping the leaderboard until the last few minutes.  Till next time…
